Night Tenders was started to fill a void in the property management marketplace. Most property managers or owners of rental properties do not have the time to answer their own after hours emergency calls so they either hire a pager service to accept all calls or have an employee carry a cell phone to do it. Most would agree that around 40% of emergency calls are not emergency calls at all, they are issues that could be easily handled the following day so as to not disturb the owners or paid employees.

Here’s where we come in! We are a call center equipped with highly trained staff that answers those calls and helps determine if the tenant’s request meets the owners definition of an emergency. We first attempt to problem solve with the tenant to try to handle the issue on our own. From there, if emergency assistance is needed, we would then follow preset steps to either contact the service professional or maintenance man of the owner’s choice or we would create a work order for non-emergencies and submit them to the appropriate person for attention the following day.

Every call is recorded and a written record of the incident is created and submitted to the owner (or manager) in the form of communication they prefer (text, email, phone, fax, etc…).
